If you want more thump then you need to ask your tuner to lower your idle a bit and give you a choppy idle timing. A lower LSA would help as well. Your duration is already good to give you a mean thump, however, changing lobes isn't a bad idea.

Garrison you helped put the cam in my truck nuckle head. Its a 224 230 but on a 114 lsa. G yours was on a 112 lsa.
NP told me to do a 228/228 112LSA and a 2800 stall, said that is a great reliable set up for the 5.3. I've done some research on it and there's right at a 90 horse gain from stock. That's with a tune to. The idle will make you fall in love. I don't have a cam so I can't say for sure, but that's what I'm going with. NP knows there stuff.
I got a smaller cam than that on a 114 and it screams race truck! No way I can hide it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZPX...e_gdata_player
Mine screams like hell at full throttle. Just want a harder chop at idle. Im gonna do ported heads n new lifters so I might as well do a new lsr lobe cam.
overspeed and underspeed and timing at idle and idle rpm... adjust those to the idle sound you like.
Thanks for the input Kirt
