I have some of this already and have some connections so my total with all of that is about 1300 cash out of pocket so far. which leaves me a few hundred for charge pipe plumbing, some exhaust bends and braided line for oil feed and return.
The other reason I was thinking about keeping the 4.56 with the turbo is I may throw 33-35 on in the future. Current tires have 23k on them so when they go out I will make the change.
Take what you think its gone cost and double it, all the little stuff you dont even realize you need will add up fast!
Yea I know how that works, I have built 5 turbo cars in the past from the ground up so I'm aware of all the little things that need to go into it. This is my first Fuel injected v/8 build and was originally going to go all motor which is pointless on a 4.8 in this heavy of a vehicle.
Better stick back some transmission money too! A lesson i learned the hard way.
That I do, That will most likely be the most expensive part of the build, Thinking about going to a 80e but not sure how that will be since the truck is a 2010 and a 4x4. I have seen a couple 01 4x4 2500 parts trucks on CL but wasn't sure if its just getting the right connectors cross member and having NP adjust the computer or what.
Hard to find that kind of info on the newer stuff. Im finishing up my 80 build right now and so far it hasnt been near as bad as i thought it would be.
