Just remember that Rex does this on the side and not through wcch. Wcch has nothing to do with his motors. He just happens to work there, so that's why people say Rex at wcch.

Yeah should have mentioned that, when he calls, to actually speak to Rex.
1 (818) 422-7879. Rex's direct line
Awesome info, thanks I will give him a call!
I just talked to him on the phone and he seem's to really know his LS motor's, I think I am going to have him build me a 408. Thank's again guy's!
You wanna sell the 6L you have in your truck now??
Well after talking to Rex I think I am going to ship my current 6.0 to him and have him build it in to a 408.
do enough reading, hang around long enough and you'll find horror stories on EVERY builder. i cant think of a single builder without skeletons in their closet. rex has quite a few too. in the end we are building race engines and pushing them to their limit. throw in the human factor and it sucks lol. my last engine builder forgot to torque down my cam bolts. luckily i chose a builder with a great reputation and he owned up to the mistake and corrected it. pick a builder and cross your fingers:) my plan is to stick with stock bottom ends in the future. they are cheaper and tend to last about 100k miles longer
After beating on mine this weekend at the track I think I'll be building all my future motors myself. I drove it fairly hard 120 miles to the track, beat the piss out of it 7-8 runs, then drove it 120 miles back home. I now trust my abilities. This was my first LS build btw. Only built one old SBC prior to this about 9 years ago. Only thing I can't do myself is the block work.
