A small amount of metal is normal. If u see a lot uh oh. Bearing material is usually non magnetic, lead zinc copper alloy or something of the sort

I meant that the chrome specs were from cutting the filter! Sorry I didn't specify. Another thing I just drove it to my buddys shop and the oil pressure was @40 all the way but never went past it even at full throttle.
I use a magnet to gather all of the magnetic debris. What metal the magnet wont pick up should be a copper color.
Yeah tried the magnet and it picked up the few lil specs that it had. I guess they were from the filter material when I cut it. So what now? Should I just drive it like that?
It would drive me nuts. I would have to check the oil pump o ring to make sure i didnt pinch it or something. But im weird like that

Laroj, what type of oil you using? how many miles on that 6.0 ?
10w 30 castrol syntetic blend. And the motor has @ 60k. The stock 4.8 that came with the truck had 130k and was still running strong it had a small cam and bolt ons I treated it like shit and never gave me any problems. Why would this one be any different?
