Had one converter bolt that was backed out around 1/2 a thread. Pulled it out to check for wear, put some more locktite on it, and stuck it back in there. She's ready for SAR.

It seems to be fixed. I can't imagine a bolt 1/2 thread loose when two others are holding it tight as hell would cause a noise like that, but if it worked, I don't care. I'm glad it wasn't something major. When you hear a noise like that from deep in the engine bay/under the truck, it's awfully scary.
A noise like that makes my butthole pucker up to the size of a decimal point. The last time I heard a noise like that my cam shattered into 10 pieces.
