Alright, bit of an update....
Got the headers back from the coaters, wish I had done some more test fitting prior to coating, cause we had to squash the hell out of the tubes for cyl. 4 & 6 to clear the frame.
Also, the headers do not come with any collector flange, so we welded one on prior to coating.

Got the fans fitted on to the radiator.

Got the A/C lines in. Bought some adapters for the compressor, then had some lines made up to connect to the condensor and firewall.

Lower rad hose from the V8 colorado fits great. Was going to use the V8 Colorado Heater hoses, but I don't like how they fit with the engine cover.

Cut the end off of the Power steering hose from the G8 and had the hose makers crimp a line on to connect it to the Colorado steering rack.

Cut the Colorado Fuel lines, and crimped on a hose to go to the G8 engine. Also, braised on a 5/16" end to the EVAP line.

Some more pics...
Got the cover painted and on after cleaning up the rest of the wiring. Also got the A/C lines done. Used an A/C compressor from an LS2 CTS-V and got some fittings from Nastalgic air parts. Then just had a local company cut some hoses and crimp them on.

Truck fires up and runs fine, just need to get the driveshaft back still so we can get it in and then over to the exhaust shop. Also, have to finish up the air intake tube, then on to the dyno.
That's cool! Let us know what kinda numbers it lays down.
Spent all of Saturday on the dyno...

That's badass!
Questions.
Do all the gauges work.
What ECM did u end up using.
Do all the bcm, hvac controls and abs work.
Pic of the cai.
Definitely a clean conversion!
Yes, everything works, I wouldn't have it any other way.
ECM is from an '09 Colorado 5.3L
A/C is charged and functional, all the gauges are good, everything is as it should be.
Here's a pic of the intake.

Any way you can throw up a consolidated parts list for this swap? I've been wondering about doing something like this myself. It looks factory great from what I can see ... awesome job!
Nice conversion, looks factory. Seems pretty strait forward.
