the 255/50 are 30" calculated and 29.4 measured

I'll go home and measure my current tires. They have a good bit more sidewall than the 255/50. If the 275/40 is even smaller I will know what to start looking at.
the 275 45 is a perfect tire trust me i have had multiple tire wheel combinations lol.....the tires on the rims you have are 275/55s ;)
That sound about. How much height difference is there?
I know the higher the second number relates to how much of a percentage of the tire is sidewall. How the first number is brought about I don't know. I once thought it related to tire height like 255 = 25.5 in. But recently found that isn't the case.
this will help u ;)
going to be atleast a 2inch in height difference
i always use this, when im changing tires/rims lol

Ya ur right playboy just 275mm x 55%= sidewall height then add that twice plus ur rim size and thats an estimate.... But on tirerack I think you it is they tell you what each and every brand of each series roll out too... Youd be surprised the different... You usually find the cheaper tires like Sunny and otber traders village tires being ghe most off in height eother way short or way tall...
I couldnt agree more woth zach on 45 series 275s they look great!
