You are underestimating the SSS IMO. My truck went 14.57 WITHOUT a tune with just a vette servo, HD2 shift kit and AEM CAI. Tuned it and it went 14.30.

I am not underestimating the SSS. I am saying this guy is full of crap!!! lol He said all that was done is an exhaust and cold cai. And pulled me by 3 links. I am not man I got beat it was a awesome race. just saying the guy is full of it. lol My truck has a cai, exhaust with the stock headers and a tune. The last thing that beat me that bad a was a 13 second camaro.
Hmmmmmmm exactly what do you run in the 1/4 BC I think you are underestimating an SS.
This is what I'm saying...RCSB 5.3 trucks with his mods wouldn't run with an SSS with those mods. I ran a 4.8 RCSB with a 228R cam, 3600 stall and 4.56 gears and walked him hard from a dig with my SSS and I only run high 13s.Quote:

back when my truck was stock, all it had was a hypercrap, i ran an SSS with a cold air and superchips, was a friend of mine so im sure of it, anyways its still up for debate on who won :lol: but for the last 5 years he supposedly won by a bumper, i was still running 323 gears also. I would think it shoulda been a closer race with slowex, then again mine is a rcsb and a so called factory freak.
