Most common issue is too small of a fuel pump causing detonation. Do you have a fuel gauge and were you monitoring it? What pump are you running?

running Delphi 42# injectors.....i never really got to stand on it. The first time i stood on it...it blew up!! Turd, but fuel psi, was @ 60 psi at WOT. I am currently running the stock fuel pump right now, i am lloking into doing fuel pump upgrades and need some advice on what to get and how to modify my fuel pump bucket....turbo vehicles are not very popular around here soo i figured that i will try to get as much input as possible and a big thanks to every one that has been providing me with input, thank you all. but the there is good news to this. GM is going to warranty the blown engine, soo i am debating to install my GMPP Hot Cam again or install a Z06 cam, i left the LQ9 all stock and it just needs more power, and help on setups wouldbe excellent, BTW intercooler and meth kit will be going in this time around. And yes i was def. monitoring the fuel press. gauge....soo lets hope for the best this time.
Are you running a wideband? Definitely get one if you don't have one. My GMT900 messed up when I was going 1/2 throttle from a stop due to the factory tune not enriching the fuel volume for a few seconds. GD E38 PCM! :grr:
Thats crappy news, stupid electronics :-P yeah i def got a wideband band, i run a PLX device, Model DP-5 and DP-100 .....i think somethink like that, it is a black faced wideband with its own little red box that controls the bosch sensor
Anyone have, any fuel system mods done,to their pumps or aftermarket fuel rails on the stock truck intake ?
