i set mine in there so i wouldnt have to make a driveshaft i think my motor mounts are set all the way back im not to sure tho. but yes the factory drive shaft will work with the dirty dingo mounts
How close to the firewall, would all you guys say, your engine is? (I think the rear of the passenger cylinder head/valve cover, would be the closest point.) Thanks
STS systems don't rely so much on heat in the exhaust system. He can always wrap the pipes to hold heat in or have the headers coated inside and out.
I read somewhere that there ar two types of motor mounts. One that keeps the engine at its current location but moves the transmission 1" foward and would require minor modification or the second option is that the engine would be moved back 1" back keeping the transmission in its current location. I personally like the second option since it would keep the weight more centered and should make the truck handle better.
Dirty dingo mounts are the best imo. They are adjustable and will go right into stock location
