Dallas Raceway this Friday Night 06/24/11

Spinnin ain't winnin! Wish I could make it but have to work a double shift on Friday :( need to fix the trans and a bigger stall before I run it anyway.

Im hoping to make it out there maybe meet some of you guys. Bad thing is wont have my truck back yet.

Come on out to visit, telling lies, drinking cold beer and talking trucks is most of the fun anyways since we are all slow.

Might be a decent turn out tonight, looks like 8 to 10 trucks may be showing up.

It was a good time Friday night, we need to do it again soon.

There were at least 4 to 5 guys who made their first runs ever down a drag strip, you could see in some of their eyes that they're hooked now.

I must say Eric's 6.0 supercharged CC impressed me a lot, I believe he clocked a best run of 12.7 @ 108 on street tires, 22s at that and full weight with bed lid and sound system.

Wow, it is a must attend for me nxt time!! Jesse ran my truck he said but couldnt cut times like I cut at SAR...but also didnt use slicks

Have to say im def hooked. Way better than the Cedar Creek track. Had alot of fun hanging out and meeting everyone. Found a deal on a set of 17s im gonna try and pic up today for slicks.

There were a few guys that didn't get to make it out there this past Friday night so hopefully we can put together another trip for this Friday or the next.

Nathan in the 07 Black TBSS, Joey in the 08 Red Reg Cab, Chad in the 07 White Ext Cab are who I can think of right off hand.

Be cool if you can get the 17s by then Eric so we can do a little weight reduction and see what she does.



Edit: Also Jeff needs to make a few passes in the Saab before he does motor work.

Tried calling the guy that has them a few times this morning but no luck. Hopefully i can get ahold of him. On another note pm or text me a price on that 87mm TB if you are wanting to get rid of it.

Yeah I met him out there, seemed like a cool guy, I believe he was spinning off the line, but didn't really get to see him run.

Yeah, maybe he is hungover or something, hopefully you can get him on the phone.
