Sounds like something similar to my situation. Came around a corner and met a car. Dodged the car to save lives...
Wow that thing got tore up, and as far as the airbags go I've always been told they only blow in a full head on, that looks like it was most a passenger side hit.
Yeah, read that also. If impact is more on the pass side, airbag deployment could cause more damage than good due to the driver been out of his restrain position !
