i apologize im a prick, sorry. i just wont post any questions anymore cuz i realize i am unworthy of anyone's advice.
i gave you a link over on the chat room the other day. look at the stickies in ls1tech under conversions and hybrids. one sticky has a bunch links related to wiring harnesses. Sorry i cant help much further.
Lq9 wasnt being a douche bag. well a little krass but not db. why cant we just give him some help?
hey i appreciate it a lot, i motivated myself a little more, and found quite a bit of helpful info. any other comments are welcome.
personally i think you should have stuck with dbw, its so easy to install. But since you are going cable you will need to acquire whatever pigtails you will need for the throttle body and then get a wiring diagram and hack up your tb harness. as far as your fuse box, it may just plug right in but i think there were differences in fuse locations between models and years. As in your fuel pump fuse may be powering something else. I would call gm and get part numbers for your fuse block and the truck the engine came from and see if they match.
i had an idea thats probably easier, pull connector diagrams for your fuse box and the fuse box the motor came from and see if they match. if they end up being different i would check on here in the parts wanted area or on ebay. I found a used fuse box on ebay for my swap for $40 with all the fuses and relays still in it.
by the way, a 6.0 in an s-10 blazer, that's bad-ass. That thing is gonna fly, at least till the trans blows up, lol.
i just finished printing both diagrams, i have no motivation to check them out yet, ill have to do it tomorrow after work. i have a 700r4 being built but since it wont be done before im ready to drop in the motor im going to see how long the stock 4l lasts. and the 700 is 2wd trans as well which will be nice to get rid of the transfercase. im kind of excited for the power increase but yet again i had a 5 hundread horse honda, i know this is a whole different power but im not getting my hopes up for the rediculous factor at this point.
ill throw up some new pictures tomorrow of how the swaps coming.
