Got your fuel system & fuel pump wiring figured out o.k.?
ya i got everything else all figured out. I kept the factory underhood fuse/relay center and connection to the firewall(C100). once i get these last few wires hooked up plus relocating the MAF and Front 02 wires and plugs, i will plumb the fuel system and she should start right up. I am gonna make sure everything works with the harness unloomed and once i am satisfied, then i will loom it and it should be done and looking super factory, minus the FPR on the firewall.
BTW thanks for all the help guys, its just the diagrams i was working off of was for an OBS 99. and they are a bit different when it comes to these 3 wires. THANKS THANKS THANKS AGAIN!
"FPR on the firewall" What is that? Fuel pressure regulator, or? Your existing in-tank fuel pump/sender will work perfectly "as-is". You know this, right? If you need help with the wire colors on this, also...just ask. Been there, solved that, lol.
well i removed the stock tank, pump, lines, and filter. i am installing a fuel cell, mallory 110fi pump, regulator, ect...The fuel rail is a non-return style so i have to regulate delivery at 58psi.
I do have bigger better plans for it in the future, so why it is down for the motor swap might as well do other improvements that were slated anyways. besides it also makes room to run the true duals straight back instead of the crossover pipe.
all the wiring is done except for the oil sender. i have it hooked to the firewall but i have to hook up the 5v ref and gnd wires to it since they came from the old ecm.
i should really try to get my hands on the gm service manual for the truck, then i could be posting progress instead of asking questions all the time.
with one is the check engine light wire
here you go! this should help alot
