tr6 are more for nitrous. tr5/55 are NA. from what ive been told
tr55s will work great. But they won't last 100k miles. You might want to think of getting a good set of wires while you're in there.
I think I am going to wait on the wires. I have not had any problems with hessitation or missing such is a sign of the plug wires breaking down, but I will be ready to change them if need be.
Just change em now while you're in there. Bad wires can make a coil work double time and burn em out.
That is true, but I gotta look at funding also. When I said complete tune up I was including: plugs, wires, fuel filter, trans filter, fluids for tranny, rear end, power steering and brake fluid, coolant, oil, oil filter, etc... In other words the works. owever like I said I gotta look at funding and pick up my stuff a bit at a time. I just figured plugs would be a good starting point since there are so many out there.
Tune up.....More like a 100K overhaul. Good stuff though man.
Make sure you get the addative when you do the rear end.
Which gear oil weight and addative do you recommend for the rearend?
