Its not so much as looking foolish, but this scenario is based on principle. Mike is just telling Clint that he needs to send the heads. Mike is not bashing Clint, he is just merely using a media (the Internet in this case) to outsource getting his heads he rightfully paid for. I am sure it was an oversight by Clint's part.
