Treo SSi... sorry, but we BOTH know that'll blow a d3 away.
diamond audio's website is well,,, different. I'll have to see if a local shop carries them. i hate all the local shops.
There is a reason that not just anyone can carry their product...........
i mean i didn't see nothing about air space mounting depth, or watts. It'd be nice to know something about them.
You have to look around a little bit. They have the manuals in PDF. I can't remember where they are though. I know they fit in my prefab df box and require 3/4 cube sealed. Look into the ones Justin was mentioning, he seems to know of more brands than I do. I usually find what I like and stop there.
* when you got to diamondudio.com click on the support menu at top of the page, you can view the manuals there.
I kinda just threw that sub out there... it's been a year or so since I've been active with car audio forums. Looks like they're going to want a little more power than you have (750 RMS for a 10 or 12).
Honestly, a tried and proven sub for sealed or small ported enclosures is the Resonant Engineering RE sub (they have a mounting depth of under 6" for a 12), or if you want to be a guinea pig, RE has a new shallow mount called the SL. They call for 350 watts RMS and have a mounting depth of 3.5".
I haven't ever seen or heard anyone be dissatisfied with RE. I know they were bought out a while back by US Amps (also a good quality company) but still retain their designs. They can be expensive now that they aren't privately owned anymore.

Looks like they are right around your price range on that site, but that is the only site I looked into. You may find it cheaper. Good luck and let me know if I can help you with anything.
A guy I know that started with 3 underpowered d3 12's made the switch to RE, he said he was impressed by them. We could feel him coming from a block away with both setups, I didn't hear the truck enough to hear the difference inside though.
