I have been searching and cant find anything that says any 5.3 has vvt except for the LC9 which GG mentioned. On other forums ppl say they dont as well.

There are simply too many weird things on the moderns ones....VVT, DOD, E85....
Makes ya wanna use a BFH on them, same reason this is my last late model vehicle
BFH solves most any problem. Sawzall cleans up the rest
never had UD pullies but wonder the true gain of them, considering they cost about 200-250.
200-250 also gets you an intake/exhaust/handheld programmer/etc
none of which yield same results. Overtime they more then pay for themselves in gas mileage savings, and everyone enjoys going a little faster.
