Got the engine and tranny out yesterday. I cant' believe how easy it was to remove them both. Just four bolts and it was out. I went ahead and power washed the front end in preparation for the POR-15 treament. I plan on removing the cab and bed as well so I can get the whole frame treated.
I've heard that a '73-'87 front end will bolt right up to a '64. Is this true and what kind of benefits would I gain? I would like to have power steering as well as front disk brakes.
