Both you guys have really nice trucks. I hate the wheels that I chose. I think i'm going with bonspeed but haven't made up my mind yet its a hard decision.
I'm sick and tired of the pos 305, its gutless and always something wrong with it. I'm ready to swap this thing

I used carshopinc plates, from ebay...
the standard ones...I think.
There are several guys on this forum, and 67-72 and ls1tech that are running a/c on their squarebody ls swap. I wish I had more info, but I hardly drive mine, so a/c was important to me for my swap. If you run drive by wire it will be a lot easier to run cruise control.(and cheaper)

Hey cobra what drop is on yours?? I got the 5/7 djm drop my truck sits extremely high in the rear. I dont think 7 inches is going to get it where I want it. And the frickin dust covers wont let me put the center caps on. I dont want to run these wheels anyway, just got em for the drop kit.

I think it's a 5/6
3" spindles, 2" springs up front
rear flip kit, no notch....yet

I'm not notching mine, I really don't want to cut up my frame
-
with a 7" drop in the back i don't think you will have much of choice if you don't want to hit your rear end on the frame each and every little bump you go over. Frame notching is not that big of an issue as long as you do it with the right material and have a competent welder doing the work. There is also the bot in kits from DJM and belltech as well as some others. If you bought the kit then you probably have it already.

As far as the engine swap i am doing the same set up just waiting on a few parts to get things rolling, you should definitely do it!
-
Yeah I got the 5/7 kit from DJM about 5 years ago just haven't installed it yet. I first had to find a set of bigger then 18 wheels so the calipers wouldn't rub. Plan on installing that as soon as PST gets me my bushings and tie rods.
I'm still looking for the correct motor mounts to run A/C ????????
Anyone know?

give street and performance a call, they could probably answer that quick.
