the point in doing the doors is to eliminate rattle and get better mid-range sound from the mids. it helps eliminate distortion and outside noise too. if applied to the entire cabin of the vehicle you should have little to no rattles.
If you have speakers in your doors, deading them makes them sound MUCH better as the sound won't bleed out thru the doors and the doors wouldnt rattle or vibrate as much.

hmm... my driver door rattles a little with windows down but i've never noticed anything with them up.
Guess between exhaust/radio, never really payed attention.
I have the outerskin layered as well as the inner, probably two layers thick on the back wall to help eliminate the exhaust sound coming in the truck. From my experience there isnt a point where you can put too much on, it might not be cost effective but it makes a difference.
well i guess i'll do the doors for now, and ill have to order more to do the roof and floor
I believe its the actual door panel. Doesn't seem to snap in at the top like the passenger side does. I've tried re-installing it 4-5 times, I just learned to deal with it. Thanks tho
A bit of personal opinion:
Dynamat is ridiculously overpriced and not even the top of the line anymore. For as good as it performs you might as well go with raammat or something much cheaper that is just as good.
Sound Deadener will reduce rattles and enhance acoustics, but it will do very little for road noise. If you want to decrease road noise I would recommend a closed-cell foam material like ensolite. Lay a layer or 2 or 3 on the floor and back wall and it will help greatly with road noise. I think RaamMat Also sells ensolite.
For those who don't know ensolite is basically that foam stuff the nice floaty blue pool chairs are made out of
ya i forget the name of the stuff I got, it's heat deadening as well as sound deadening. mainly for the cab of high end race cars...wasn't cheap. The roll is is in a box about 10 inches by 10 inches by 18 inches and weights like 90 lbs.
