YAY WE DID IT!!!!!!! :woot1:
Im tellin you guys, I did a motor swap on my own so I am somewhat mechanically inclined. That belt was a bizzoch!
Put a pair on a supercharged Park Avenue or a V8 Aurora and you'll like this one from now on. :naughty:
No thanks...
the first time I had to replace one on my old Z it sucked. on the second one after some cursing and scratches up and down my fat arms I remembered I needed to go from underneath. After I remembered what I was doing it took about 10 minutes from getting the belt on to putting everything back together that I didn't need to take off. New truck has E-fans so now it will be quite simple.
Efans make it so much simplier.. takes longer to find tools than do the actual work.
+ one billion. It's worth the $846 it cost me to run efans to swap the belt. J/K...it is a lot easiesrest with efans.
Counts the fans, the harness, and the tune  that makes it work like stock (didn't mention it adds 30 HP too). :greg:
what fans did you go with? thats crazy.
my first efan setup was about $90 for everthing. LS1 Efans, connectors, wire, relays. Made my own harness and i already have EFI live..
few weeks ago i towed a 05 Silverado home for a friend, in return i swapped him my 28" rad and LS1 Fans with harness and tune the PCM for the 34" rad and 34" Fans.
we are putting the 5.3/60E in a 95 RC he bought.
