Tranny issues AGAIN. After toying with 5 different scenarios, I think I have the issue pegged: the PCM. Seriously...I have tried complete rebuilds; stock converters; stock 65e; a cut open, cleaned out, refreshed and restalled 3000 converter; eliminating the electronics with vacuum modulation; etc. There has not been a constant throughout the whole equation except for the PCM. The PCM I am running is from an 02 truck. The 01-02 PCMs have a different and better processor (which also means a different OS) than the 99-00 PCMs. I sent my stock PCM (mail order tune from Wheatley back in 05) back to Wheatley and had him flash the current tune I have from Dale and unlock it. That way I will have the stock VIN PCM in my truck again. I totally forgot about the PCM being different...which SHOULDN'T cause all of these 3/4 problems, but we'll see what happens. :argg:
