Whose Truck Isn't Running??

Mine is in the garage. :-(

Tranny issues AGAIN. After toying with 5 different scenarios, I think I have the issue pegged: the PCM. Seriously...I have tried complete rebuilds; stock converters; stock 65e; a cut open, cleaned out, refreshed and restalled 3000 converter; eliminating the electronics with vacuum modulation; etc. There has not been a constant throughout the whole equation except for the PCM. The PCM I am running is from an 02 truck. The 01-02 PCMs have a different and better processor (which also means a different OS) than the 99-00 PCMs. I sent my stock PCM (mail order tune from Wheatley back in 05) back to Wheatley and had him flash the current tune I have from Dale and unlock it. That way I will have the stock VIN PCM in my truck again. I totally forgot about the PCM being different...which SHOULDN'T cause all of these 3/4 problems, but we'll see what happens. :argg:

Dave--I haven't run the Wheatley tuned PCM for about 2 years. Its been sitting in a box in my storage unit... His tune was fine--just had some start-up issues. Needed a live tune and I just couldn't justify driving to Houston for a Live Tune. SOOO I paid the credits for the PCM I have now and had Dale live tune it for me. :D

Mine down at the time

-reason being boost is gay, i want instant power and a nice DD..nitrous accomplishes what i want so im swapping back to what it was....a very small shot, cam, small stall, and headers :D

Hopefully will be running in the next week

I was going to avoid this thread due to superstition but...here goes (forgive me Karma gods)

I had a situation similar to Jay...#7 took a dump. Still don't know what happened...gave the motor to Mic...waiting for details (no hurry Mic)

Swapped a 6.0, Walbro 255 and 60# injectors...waiting to do an 80e and tru trac in the back and I should be done.
