i dono, i think it would be better to just leave it open the whole way down the track. I think the whole low end torque loss with wide open exhaust is more for NA. The turbo gives plenty of exhaust restriction IMO. Looks cool

I think it would hurt the flange with all that exhaust coming out while opening it down the track?
Correct turbos love open free flowing exhaust.
Restriction for N/A motors has to do with exhaust scavenging.
Doesnt matter with forced induction since air is getting shoved in
instead of pulled in by vacuum pressure.
I'd love to see your cut-out open at night with no light.
