I spend about an hour or two a week doing homework and do not study at all. I've been doing pretty good so far.

come on down! It is really a nice place or I would not live here!

Thanks for the advice guy's! I'm going to be studying my butt off I want to finish! I can't not finish the rest of my life depends on it. And maybe I can afford to go really fast when I get a awsome job:ugh2:
Thats a myth.
Unless going to college to study for particular profession, college degrees
are a waste of money.
In the real business world more times than not its who you know not what you
know that gets you ahead.
College degree just opens the door at "bigger" companies. Most other
places are more interested in "experience".
hey, im goin to school too!!!
where are you gona go? maybe well be room mates!
^^^ x2 too bad my parents dont agree...
but im sure it wont hurt nothing to go to school
It does help to know someone, it does help to have experience, it does help to have good communication skills, and it does help to have an applicable degree (Music degree for Industrial related career.....probably not....Business, Finance, Info Systems, Engrg, Mgmt....probably so depending). So if you are looking for an Industrial or commercial related career....the CM degree is good.
Education (like experience, communication skills, who you know) can definitely help you get a job, keep a job, and get promoted. Analogy: think of education like a glove in baseball. Yes you might be able to catch a few of them bare-handed, but do you really want to do it that way the rest of your life?
My 2 cents.
I agree 100%. Going to school and not knowing exactly what you are going to do after you grad is kind of a waste.q
Thats why i didn't go to college right out of high school. I make a pretty good living as a welder and modding LSx's on the side. The one and only reason i decided to go back to school is time. I'm studying to be a 8-12 Math teacher. I'll probably earn about the same as i do welding, but will only work about half as many hours! The wife and i are starting to think about kids and i want to be able to spend as much time as possible with them. What better way than to have the same schedule they have. Wife is an 8th grade History teacher and her job kicks ass! I can't wait to get done and start teaching.
Plus can you imagine how much garage time i can put in with summers of!!!
