When you cut the maf off, that might have disturbed the electronics and damaged something. I bet the maf is bad, you'll soon find out with the new one on order.

Thanks,for Now When I Get The New Filter Housing In,im Going To Just Swap The Sensor Over On The New Housing.if The Light Dont Go Away Then Im Gonna Order The Sensor.

UPDATE:i installed the new upper lid,and just swapped the maf sensor over,disconnected the battery,then connected it back ,light went away,but still didnt turn on till after 3 trys,then light came back:(

allen u were correct,i already ordered the new maf sensor,i dont see how i possibly damaged it,i never touched the inside of the maf,i did blow it with some compressed air to get some of the plastic shavings out,that might have done it.

wel i spent $88 on new air bo assembly,and now $95 on sensor lol all for nothing.

to make things worse,now i just found out volant made a intake for $335 for the 09' damm

took it in to local dealer,came up it was a freakin fuse lol i feel stupid,but i never knew a blown fuse would make the ses light come on.so yea i saved my self 90.00 on the sensor.
