Welcome to the site! Nice amount of mods for an old school SBC guy! After looking at your mods, you should have better times than that! First thing--get a custom tune! Second, that cam you have is too small. You can go up to a high 220's duration and high 500's lift with a 5.3L. Are those Edelbrock headers long tubes?Quote:

Welcome. If you are gonna self tune you might as well get HP tunners software. Its way better than the DST stuff.
What cam do you have again?
This Cam is based on a 99 camaro SS Grind w/ a hair more lift & dur. & less LSA, ground by Lingenfelter 500/218 on a 116 LSA, not the hottest cam, a little step up from stock, but at this time the engine has 115,000 miles and i can't be to hard on it, when i build it up, then i'm stepping up the cam..
