Yeah, but I wonder how dependable it is....i mean...that is a heck of a lot cheaper. I always believe ya get what ya pay for in most cases.

I will probably give one a try if I have any more problems
the reason the walbro is so cheap is you are only getting the pump. autozone or oreilly is going to sell you the pump, sending unit and all mounting hardware to just swap out the entire pump assembly.
I had to get my fuel pump replaced on my 02 2500HD with under 10,000 miles on it. I am lucky I am still under warranty. I can't find the receipt right now but it woulda cost around $264 for the pump assembly and $250 for labor for the stealership to do the job.
So far mine is still running. it will be interesting to see how far it goes before it happens again but when it does I will definately be swapping pumps.
hey ron, that's odd it was stuck, for about 130 or so, you can get that walbro and it pumps a lot more fuel.
hey kinjo, i don't have any messages from you, did you leave a vm or just try calling and no vm, i haven't been online for more than 3 mins in the last 5 days, i posted about that.
regardless, you pcm was sent already sent out and keep us updated on how it turns out, you'd be one of the first that the mileage actually went down, lol. no funny, but just not common.
anyway, take care and call anytime, i'm making a huge effort to take all calls or at least return them shortly after a vm is left.
allen
now that i think about it, i think we talked already, lol.
later,
allen
Same here....haven't had the no start problem again but, I do think I had a fuel pressure problem this past weekend because as I was coasting through town at 40mph I had my foot barely on the pedal to keep the speed but it was sounding like I was pushing the pedal and letting off, like revving the engine. Only the sound was much quieter than if I had actually been revving the engine. I think my pump was not able to keep up and was causing the fuel pressure to drop in spurts.
Then again, who knows it could be something else. :duh:
Still no more problems for me
