that depends on a few things. one is the truck a toy or a DD, second is this your only vehicle to drive, third how is the trucks life abuse?, fourth how was oil pressure?

all this will play factor into if motor is going to fail baddly or not. if its a pure toy and you have other rides to drive go ahead and cam it. if you daily drive it and is only ride i wouldnt mod it

The motor is going to be ripped down and rebuilt but since it will be apart, put it back in better. Oil pressure is never lower that 40 psi on the guage and it is not DD. Going to spec the block and crank for S & G's and make final decisions from there. It doesnt make any bottom end noise and runs like a raped ape. Just making noise on cold start.

Sounds Like piston slap.
