what it do! welcome
All through the post it didnt say what motor you have? And +1 to the tune and long tubes. I would try to get a cam installed, long tubes and get the tune for all of it. Be a world of difference by the end.
Sorry fellas. Its a 5.3. I guess that whould be a great help. Lol. With all do respect is the 5.3 a 323. Or a 327. At the parts store it come up 323. But my buddy that is an ASE tech says its more of 327. I'm lost.

Got this off MorTec : 325 = 3.779" x 3.622" ('99-later, Gen.III, "LM7", "LS4 front wheel drive V-8" 5.3 Liter Vortec, 6.098" rod)
325 :thumb:
Yup...I'd hate to say it, but Nate is right. Yours is a 325.
Welcome! Nice ride man... When you get serious about the cam and head swap--let us know. We'll point ya in the right direction. But just for grins, I would go with 799s for the heads and a 224R cam from Texas Speed. And when you do that, you'll need at least a 3000 stall.
But for longtubes--go with the GM Truck LPP headers. Great product at a great price!
any ideas where to find these great headers?...ive looked around at the places i usually shop..but ant seem to find them...
