The second cam is going to be easier on the valvetrain.
Anyways, figure out what sound you want, and what goals you have. IMO the ASA cam was a nice cam. cost effective horsepower. And could run just as long as a stock setup. If you going to DD it, I would suggest a lazy lobe, and lower lift. If its a track truck, and your not going to put 12kplus miles on it, go more aggresive.

well that also goes back to what lobes its on. you can have 2 cams with similar specs but totally different lobes.

Yup. Like Comp's XER, XFI, and XE. They all could be the same lift...but the lobe design counts too!

And that's why I got the XERs!! :D

:) you can also have mixed lobes. the more aggressive the lobe the less life of springs.

A .000"/.000" 000 @ .050" with a 0 LSA is easiest on the valve springs.
