I'm guessing Weld says they won't fit because of the thickness of the shank? I'm assuming a 12mm shank has a thinner wall than a 14mm shank.
So, they say it won't fit because the shank won't go in the rim hole?

Do these 14 mm lugnuts you posted have a thinner or special wall shank that will allow them to fit? Or , I might have to drill the rims, right?

If everything will fit after I drill the rims, I don't mind doing it, I'm sure the machine shop can get it to fit exactly if I supply the rims with the shank lugs.

I was wrong on the 14mm shanks....... You need a .0679''-.0687'' od shank... so you would have to drill the rims.... But I think the safer way to go is to change the studs in the axles to just 1/2'' studs from ARP and run the correct Shank lugs for the wheels.... just my .02.. Im pertty sure the rules require the studs to stick out the end of the nut to pass.... so I think you will need longer studs anyway for these wheels even if you drill them. I know Moser offers the 1/2'' replacement studs. and here are the nuts...

I just went threw this same Problem.. You call summit and get a new set of Wheel studs.... Truck studs are to large you run something smaller then use the correct lug and washer for the wheel..... I have been running draglights on my truck for a few weeks now while i was waiting on my new brakes to come in ... Remove your old wheel stud and measure the shank of the end of the stud.. call summit or jegs and tell them you need a smaller stud with the same shank....... then get correct lugs and washers.. :doofus:

Hey Allen DO NOT drill the wheels out... they are a two piece design with a floating spacer inbetween the inner and outer layer. These wheels also use the lugs to center the wheel instead of the inner bore. Order the smaller studs and get the right lugs.. They have to use the shank style lugs...

Thanks guys, I'll get 1/2" or 12mm studs and find out the correct lenght I need, along with shank style lugs.
No drilling.
