Thanks guys for the advice! Yea Im def. gonna whip out the torque wrench tommorow and check out the rocker boss bolt and all the rockers and stuff.
Lol Thanks greg for double warning me to read the instructions! :tvhaha: Nah I really appreciate it guys soo much. Ill let yall know what happens. Hopefully this will be minor.
Guys it got worse... :( I started it up a while ago to run an errand for my dad and the oil pressure shot right above zero and it said oil pressure low and the ticking got louder....
Im thinkin now its a dead lifter or a pushrod :( Its not part of the rotating assembly cause its coming from the top of the engine and doesnt have a deep sound. And now it clicks when it idles
I dropped it off at the shop they are gonna take a look at it, this is not my day :(
Sounds like you killed an oil pump. You checked the oil level? I actually had an oil pump in a Gen3 engine lose prime. Took running about a minute to finally prime.
Dang I just realized I dont have the necessary bolts to get that ASP UD Pulley Off if the shop needs to get to it....Anyone know what size they are?
5/16-24 if I remember correctly
Thanks Greg
It couldnt be a bearing failure could it? That would reeaallly suck :( a sticky lifter couldnt do this correct? Or loose rockers?
