From personal experience what you are needing is the TR Old Man Truck cam. It is a 214-220 .600-.523 115lsa. It has great pull down low. It may even pull a bit higher then then stock cams. I know Mine pulls fine up to 6300 when my truck is programed to shift out. May pull higher... I dont know. Thunder Racing claims it has no need for a retune.... I had mine retuned anyway. Its a great mild cam. The only reason I dont like the cam is it TRUELY is a beginner cam. After I got it I started wantin it to be faster.... So mine is gettin snatched out for a bigger one asap. But if a good TRUCK cam is all you want go to Thunder Racing - Performance Parts for your Late Model Musclecar! Camaro, Firebird, Trans Am, Corvette, Impala SS, Mustang, Cobra, Truck, GTO look up your truck go to valvetrain and cylinder heads then to cams and so forth. Im sure you will find it. On top of everything else... it does keep great gas mileage.. I even had a bit of increase.
