I've been saving a comment here because of all the tension but I have to say you now see what I was saying in the other post about the SRT-10. Your truck is in the 12's with a stall no doubt but you raced the SRT from a roll which nulls your lack of stall being a handicap. That means the SRT could be pulling 12's at the track. My comment wasn't to bash your truck but to say "Hey those SRTs are bad so your truck must be rolling." I wish I had used those exact words and saved all this animosity. I think the other thread with an SRT running 12.44 shows I'm not full of it.
Hey Jeff awsome run man. Think you made my mind up for me on the 4.8. How many miles on your engine? You need to do a 150shot run.
I have like 62k miles. Thanx man. I like it and all, but thoughts of a LS1 block have been bouncing around in my head. I guess tomorrows Dyno will tell. Or maybe an Ls6 block, with forged pistons. If I get that though, I will for sure need a fully built tranny. But it will probably be a 4.8 for a while.Quote:

If I would have done the same mods to a lq9/lq4... I would be in the low 12's mid 11's allready. But, I like telling people in Hemi's that its just a little 4.8 with a cam... Might keep telling people that, if i swap, just to piss in their wheaties!!! :LOL:Quote:
