Spring/Rod Install at Jons

i would like to come and learn myself but ill b n SA for that weekend but if anything happens ill come and hang out and help or just laugh and make fun :lol:

couple questions about this..

- how long does a spring install usually take to do?

- what are peoples tips/tricks for making sure the valves dont drop while doing this?

3-6 hours depeding on if you suck at life and air up the cylinders with the compressor and that will keep the valves from dropping

Jon has an air fitting that screws into the sparkplug hole. AIr hold up the valves. He also has the spring compressor tool. He has all you need to do it. Once you get the hang of it it goes faster. Probably take 3-4 hours to do everything.

dang I was gonna ask about that air tool. my buddies dad has one but I didnt wanna ask and everyone make fun of me for asking if that would work.

Thats how we did mine. Actually, I only did one, he did the rest. I could have done them all, but I '' Suck at life'' :lol: and Jon does them way fast.

haha well I wanna try and do some of them but i dont wanna mess nothin up.
