It was the only one with an M on it. :dunno:
I know the Tcase is a NP263 and the I am 99% sure the tranny is a 4L80-E (it is not an allison)
Alright, found a tranny for the truck. Is there anything I really need to do before or after the tranny is in. By that I mean will the new one need any programming ect.. it came out of the same type of truck.
Also, When I took the T-case off, I took the front shaft off with it (still connected to the t-case). How does that disconnect from the t-case? I didn't want to pull to hard, wondering if there was a snap ring or something?
there should be a metal clamp around the rubber boot( or a zip tie if its been off before). Cut the band / strap off, then the front shaft slides out. When you put it back together use a tie strap around the boot.
