yeah, you'd have to find a front set before winter sets in.
but can i drive my truck just in 2wd until then?i wanna know for sure cause i do wanna change to 4.10 ,i just cant have the down time till later in the season.i was told i couldnt change to 4.10s just in the back unless i changed the fronts also.i know in the older trucks you could have different ratios as long as you didnt engage 4wd.i drove many of trucks with diff rear ratios, till changed them around.i just didnt know if i could do it on mine ,beeing an o4 without screwing something up.
I ran two different ratios in my old 4wd with no issues in the dirt. On the street it would bind up. In 2wd it doesn't matter at all, or at least it didn't used to.
Because it's too small for the weight when a lot of power is put to it with traction.
how do i find out red ,is theyre someone i can call or maybe someone will chime in.i like to know b4 i order new ones ya know.i could kill 2 birds with 1 stone and get the 410s in back for now, then by winter install fronts.
I see no problem with running different ratios as long as you stay in 2WD.
my buddy has a set of 410 richmonds out of a camaro 8.5 so im going to go with it.they should work, correct?are the fronts the same gear ,just so i can order a set for the front.what do i do for fronts .i guess im asking what the hell goes in the front?
you can buy the fronts seperately but they are cut going the opposite direction and I think they are a smaller size, may be wrong on that part.
yeh i never changed a set of fronts ,sounds about right.least i should get alittle more snap out of the 410s from this whole mess.
