sounds kinda familliar
have you considered modifying your own harness. after being put in a situation that forced me to learn more than I should ever have to know about GM electrical, I think its quite doable for the DYI'er.

when you have your harness reworked by nelson, what all is left to hook up? I think the web site said 4 or 5 wire? what are the 4 or 5 things? Is it all of my gagues? I wish I could find a little more info on these.
on mine there was. power, ground, fuel pump power, ignition, starter soleniod wire(didnt use) 2 green wires for auto trans(didnt need) i think that was it. then i had to hook up the vehicle speed sensor and Tach wire. lance helped with those. thanks lance! you the man! haha
