old school is my favorite styleof pinstripping
damn good job
wow thats really cool
Old school rules! Man, you did it up for your first shot.
I'll second the natural talent part... looks like you have a knack for laying lines :) I can't tell in the pic, how well did it flow out? With the chalk all around the lines almost look a little dry (too thick of paint on the brush), but that could be the picture messing with my eyes... For a first time on the end of a brush, I'm VERY impressed with the balance from side to side :)
I say this in confidence, because I'm about the same way. I won't touch a brush for a year, then lay some lines and it comes out better than I'd expect...
What brush are you using? mack sword? what size? One shot paint?
If you want to get a little creative with some tighter circles, the mack is great still, but for a beginner look into the Kafka line of brushes...
(just in case you wonder if I'm just blowing smoke up your @ss... lol)

Thanks again everyone for the compliments!
As far as how it well the paint flowed out, it felt fairly easy but then again I am a :newbie: so I dont really know how it should feel. The red was a little easier to stripe with but the metalic silver was harder because it felt thinner. I laid out most of the design with a stabilo pencil then striped over it so maybe thats why it looks symmetrical. Brush wise I used an xcaliber 00 and the paint was one shot. I have read about the kafka brushes, maybe I will pick one up and try it out. Theres no doubt you have been stripping for a while! Very nice work! I think there is no harder critic than yourself when it comes to your own work but it makes me feel more comfortable in my abilities to hear it from other people. Kinda motivates me to keep trying and learning. Thanks for chiming in.
looked really good
damn man you got some talent bud, looks good
You'll always have this sense of pride in a piece, but you'll always nitpick the hell out of it when everyone else likes it. It's just the way it works with artists... lol. Silver one shot is very thin, I'll never thin it at all when I stripe, and I don't load the brush to hard with it either... Were you thinning the red?
