that actually not that great, you can get a mild port done on your heads and they should flow around the same. a full port job at a local engine shop was 600, and ported 5.3s flow pretty damn good. unless you find a good price on them then I wouldn't bother. I picked up a set of ported 243s complete for $600.
maybe i have gotten used to finding good deal...and those are complete..i was saying i have found p&p 243 heads without springs...these are 799 complete
yeah, stage 2.5 heads just for tearing someones truck apart and making it stock almost instead of a barn burner. :LOL: With any luck he's at least getting better fuel mileage. :thumb:
screw it i'll just port the 706 heads i have now when i do the cam.

You could send them out to WCCH and have them ported. They do some excellent work.
