The rest of us poor folk will just stick to nitrous I guess!
actually this is my 3rd boosted setup:smile: i had to try em all to see how diffrent they are:burnrub:
the first was sts on a 2004 2500ld 4x4...i loved the boost on this truck but the sts kit just wasnt for me in the enviroment in which i work in..here is a vid of it:http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/pics-...l-burnout.html
the next was a 2005 av with a intercooled 112 radix...this ride was awsome!!!!!only draw back was my fault of this kit...i went thru 5 built 65e trannys in this thing because we went all out on the power of this thing with meth and all...was putting down a solid 450 hp and tq after all the mods.anyways instead of going 80e or flt right off the bat i kept rebuilding the 65e and it killed the project after dumping all that money in it for repairs so i made it dissapear....
now to the 2004 excab 2x4 with 4.8....trick turbo...flt level 5 65e and sd tuning ...it ran good but needed more than i could get from the 4.8 so swapped a 6.0,cam,bigger turbo and now im happy again so here we are:beerchug:
Oh yea, I am still boosted. I had the Exhaust housing on the turbo changed out to have oil and water cooling the housing. I also had an intank pump put in and roller rockers installed. I can push 14 psi now and the fuel should support it. I wont run it that high though.
