here in north carolina a lawyer can get a speeding ticket reduced to a non moving violation for improper equipment, basically stating that your speedometer was not working. the non moving violation carries no points just a $25 dollar fine and $100 court costs. plus the $125 lawyer fee thats not to bad. deffinatly go talk to a lawyer will know a way to get you out off the ticket.

it doesnt matter here if the cop doesnt show up they just have a cop who stays in court all day long and they consider that as a cop being there, but ya im getting a lawyer to fight it, ill let u all kno how it goes

90 days is nothing I have done that twice. I bicycled for the first 90 days then the second I drove with a bike in the bike rack in case i got caught.

Ya but its still 90 days over the summer that i wont have a license and the fact id have to pay to get my ticket back, and theyd make me take road rage courses, in the end id be paying around a grand when its all said and done and i dont really wanna have to do that, im hoping i can just win in court

Jeff you are full of $hit bro...there is no law that states they can take your vehicle and destroy it. it is also not called contest of speed if the cop didnt state that he was racing. It is a simple speeding ticket you can go pay a lawyer 50-100 and they can take care of it.

fight it btw no state can crush your vehicle you could be jailed and fined but they cant crush your vehicle thats the stupidest rumor ive ever heard if so you could sue the state for destuction of property
