i have a super 40 on mine i was thinking of going with super 44 i havent heard them yet in person
i have a single 3'' super 44 on my truck dumped just before the rear axle. its quieter than i hoped but im running stock cats and y pipe.
yeah after hearin moze's set up on his truck and talking to a couple guys i decided to just buy a new muffler to replace the broken dual set up under my truck now. so i bought a 40 series 3" in and 2.5" duals out, and im just going to dump it after the muffler.
heres what i got for 80 bucks at the local store....

:)
i still have the stock cats, but at the end of the summer i plan on getting some OBX longtubes or some sort of header. Im gonna get it on there tomorrow.
Im running pacesetter long tubes,no cats and true duals with a x pipe
nice that will be loud, i still have to pass emissions because i live in Wisconsin, but im really looking forward to getting the headers, i thought about going true duals as well.
What size pipe are you runnin?
2.5 all the way back.I got 3 in 3 out so i can run 3 inch dumps...makes it deeper toned.I can set most car alarms off now just by driving past...lol
nice, yeah i got 3" coming off of the Y-pipe and then to the muffler now, which the guy must have used an adapter because the muffler on there now is some tiny little thing that looks like 2.5 in and 2" outs, but thats about to go, im gonna repolish the tips since they are a good 16" or so and make them into lamps
Cool idea for the lamps man. I am gunna take off my Echo tips and throw some Corsa on there soon also. I am gunna x-pipe it after the muffler and then route it to the Corsa tips....
You'll love the new muffs Dale. I went and listened to other Super 44 sound clips and they sound real good. But they are going to be classic Flows--as in they will need a break-in period of about 6 months until the "burn out"--so to speak...
Thats about 2 months for me...i put alot of miles on it and pulling the trailer everyday...lol
