Well girls, each article claims different numbers. The article Dale posted says, ''...a remarkable 7 seconds." And the article Wade posted says, "...in 6.1 seconds." I mean, it would be apples-to-apples if they were a few tenths of a second difference between times, but these Dodge writers--or whatever journalist wrote the article--are claiming times of almost a FULL second difference. That is a LOT of time for those in the truck world. Since it is still a concept and the 09 model has not yet been released, anyone can claim a 4 second 0-60 time. We will all just have to wait for a full automotive test of the new truck before ANYONE can start claiming specific numbers...

2009 Dodge Ram pickup trucks on this link, the original. i can not find were it says 0-60 in 6.1 seconds. I found a 6.1 hemi but thats displacment.
quote '' The fastest 2009 Ram pickup will do 0-60 in a remarkable seven seconds - with a normal V8 available on most models. Gas mileage increased along with power (except on the V6 '' another quote ''The results of all this work are a 10% boost in power to 380 hp (283 kW) and 404 lb-ft of torque (548 Nm), up from 345 hp and 375 lb-ft. At the same time, gas mileage increased by nearly 5%. The Dodge Ram R/T rear-wheel-drive model, with a short bed, regular cab, and 4.10:1 gears, can reach 60 mph in a mere 7 seconds, making it faster than the PT Cruiser GT or V6 Dodge Charger. '' you must be looking at a different link. Im not saying im right or your wrong but that quote of your is not in this link.

whatever, i dont care. my point is and always will be that pound for pound chevy beats ford and dodge in paper rock scissors. a chevy with the same power will drag a dodge because of 2 reasons. 1 its lighter, and 2 its cooler

it looks like crap the front looks like a ford and the back half looks like a dakota at least thats a dodge i guess.

well i think the the coil spring rear setup will prove to be a problem, once these are in the hands of people wanting to race them, and the interior looks alot like the ford, and the only thing about that i like is the center console shifter, i dont know why GM wont do that, atleast in the tahoe or suburban or avalance.
I do like the exhaust cutouts in the rear bumper, other than that id buy a new tundra first.
