I would upgrage the exhaust and intake, then do electric fans. Don't worry with the MAF or the spacer, there is nothing there. They already told you about the tune. The cam is a good chioce too but if you can't install it for awhile i would get something you can use now.

For $330 you can't afford not to do the cam/headers! Do that this month, and then next month buy the tune and install the headers/cam. Another good upgrade for that price range is a K&N intake, or any other similar intake. But be careful... once you start modding, it NEVER ENDS!!:bash:

:duh:
Im buying a k&n intake for $200 from a "friend" he wrecked his truck and is giving me the Granetelle maf and tb spacer for free. should i even put them on my truck?
-
I would sell the MAF and TBS.
-
When mixing air and fuel they are great....but LS1s injectors aim rite at the valve.TB spacers suck! Headers YES! cam YES! but youll need a tune
-
+1 on the tune, headers & cam.
Run away from the TBS & MAF. Most people are speaking from experience. Trust us.

you do know you have to buy pushrods and Valve springs too right??
I would get the headers, cam/valvetrain and tune...
depending on the cam lift you can go with some ls6 valvesprings for like $75 bucks pushrods for $100
-
thanx for info.... im getting the hang of it i think. New cam= new pushrods, springs, might as well get heads done too. And while im at it thermal coatings and cryo treat stuff. I predict a long road of modifications ahead im affraid...

oh dang!! i just realized you have the same year, motor and Extended cab like i have...
Personally the best mods i've done to my truck was a Stall converter and gears... I can stay with alot of people from a dig but after that I usually get walked on since i dont have much top end... I plan on going with a cam and valvetrain on my truck next..
