Welcome. :wave: Wise choice to upgrade if you like the truck you already have. If you're thinking about getting a NBS truck, it would be better to just sell off the old one and buy the NBS with the V8 already in it. :twocents:

:) thanks i have been deciding my options for about 2 yrs now. i almost sold my truck to get a black ss silverado. it would be the only truck i sell mine for. and i get a lot of offers. about two weeks ago just walking into my house some guy pulled up and asked if my truck was for sale i said how much, he said 12k cash i was like :eek: thats a down payment on a ss silverado :( but i love my color and the singel cab so im just gunna put a v8 in it, if it goes well i keep it if not i sell :whack:

yea if it was just dirty i wouldn't mind cleaning it but i bet that motor was abused to death. thats why the price is so low

i would definately go 6.0 and not with the 8.1
im currently getting a 6.0 in my 96 gmc also. i didnt want to get into payments anymore and nelson performance has been really great with giving me an awesome deal on everything.

thanks and same i don't want to buy a new truck just for the v8 then have to wait a few yrs to start working on it :( im talking with Allen now about what i can do, yay
