Well I swapped a relay and a fuse and the pump works now but the damn fuel level sending unit isnt working, my gas gauge shows dead empty and by looking in the tank I have ~1/3 of a tank. I used the pump to drain ~8 gallons out and at that point it sounded like the pump was cavitating(sucking in air with the fuel) and I didnt want to chance burning it up so I stopped there. Im not sure why it is doing that. I couldnt hold the jumper wire and watch the fuel feed closely into the gas tank to see if the fuel was getting erated(sp?) or not that will be a job for sunday. Tomorrow night Im taking the night off and saturday night I get to help move a friendhttp://www.performancetrucks.net/for...h/rolleyes.gif With any luck(which I have none) it "could" be running Sundayhttp://www.performancetrucks.net/for...h/rolleyes.gif
So new question: Why would the pump work but not the sender even though the two wires coming from each of the units goes to the same plug on the under side of the fuel bucket assembly?
