its not taking that long. The dyno is in use. We are still hoping for tonight.
I'm thinking 620-650.
There may be a slight slipping of the trans :eek:
I bet there will be some slippage. He's going to be looking for a 4L80E or turbo 400 very soon.
lol yeah that would suck to eat the trans on the dyno but better than going down the road i guess... will at least save on a tow job if it goes out on the Dyno...

A little update for you guys. I wont tell hp yet as the IAT's are way high,
but I'll tell you this. Last pull the torque was 713ftlbs. No spike or anything. Every run torque was 690 or above.
IAT's are 150+, so we are letting it cool some. This is part of the reason I make my own intercooler set up instead of using STS'.
Will update again shortly.
not bad TQ numbers so far... damn hose are some high IAT's air to air right? what do you try to keep them around 100 or so?
I think its just bad design and what they use for pipe. On the fmic kits I make for the trucks, we never have that problem.
As far as an update, last pull was 595/695 and the trans let gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
I guess we found the limit of his 60e.
damn that has to bite big time... time for the 80e swap or a turbo 400...lol
