I actually have these on both my 2000 camaro and the silverado, with no alternator pulley. Never notice anything in the ss....and for the truck, I got the alternator pulley and didnt even install it, My truck has the ls6 cam in it so it is idled up to like 900 or so from the stock 650rpm i believe. So really your not losing anything if your idle is set up....i was thinkin you had some mods so you should be fine either way. My ss has been beat on daily and never saw a drop in voltage or even a sign of a problem.....you might locate hitmanX, he can get some good deals on the pulleys!!
There are some other manufacturers (March, BBK, AEM, and more) but I believe the ASP's have the largest underdrive.

Never saw a loss in power to the electronics on the C10, and I was using a CB radio with "shoes" for a long time.
